Naoussa Paros Beaches

Paros is renowned for its beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal bleu water. From Naoussa's harbour, there are fishermans boat to take you to the beaches of Naoussa Bay, it makes for a beautiful ride! Kolimbithres, known for its rocky formations, Monastri for its bar and beautiful water, Laggeri for its peace and quiet and lovely water, and Santa Maria for surfing, a great beach bar and beautiful water are all just a short boat ride away. There are also beaches at walking distance from Heaven Naoussa, Piperi beach and Agii Anargyri.

While staying at Heaven Naoussa on Paros Island, you can decide to simply relax and enjoy the nearby beaches or be more adventurous, rent a car, scooter or quad and explore the Island to find your own beach! We would be happy to map out an itinerary "of the beaten track" that would take you to Kernels Beach, Pounda, Logaras...

 

Beaches located at the North West coast of Paros island

  • Livadia Beach: The beach of Livadia is found at a distance less than one kilometer far from the port and the town of Paros (Paroikia) at the North. It is a long sandy beach with white sand and rather clean sea, although sometimes the beach looks not very clear due to the big crowds of visitors gathered here. (Livadia on Google Maps)
  • Krios Beach: The beach of Krios (meaning "ram" in Greek) is situated at a distance of some 2 kilometers northern to the capital Paroikia. It is a long, sandy beach with fine white sand, very clean crystal clear sea, well protected from the northern winds. Krios on Google Maps
  • Marcello Beach: The beach of Marcello is situated some 2,5 kilometers far from the town of Paros (Paroikia) at the North. The beach is successive to that of Krios and, as it is situated within the Bay of Paroikia, it is well protected from the northern winds.   • Souvlia Beach: The beach of Souvlia is situated at a distance of some 3 kilometers northern to the town of Paros (Paroikia) and it is successive to the beaches of Marcello and Krios. Situated within the Bay of Paros, close to the cape of Aghios Fokas, the beach is well protected from the northern winds.   • Kaminia Beach: The long sandy beach of Kaminia, situated at a distance of some 5 kilometers northern to the town of Paros (Paroikia), close to the cape of Aghios Fokas at the entrance of the bay or Paroikia, is successive to the beach of Marcello. Kaminia on Google Maps
  • Agios Fokas Beach: The beach of Aghios Fokas is situated at a distance of some 6 kilometers far from Paroikia at the North, very close to the homonymous cape at the entrance of the bay of Paroikia. Very close to the beach it is found the small twin church of Aghios Sostis and Analipsi, where on the feast of Analipsi it takes place a local feast ("panighyri"). Agios Fokas on Google Maps
  • Monastiri or Agios Ioannis Beach: The famous sandy beach of Monastiri ("Monastery") is situated western to Naoussa, 7 kilometers far away from the town. Well protected and quite remote it is found within the rocky cove of Aghios Ioannis, some 13 kilometers northeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). Monastiri on Google Maps
  • Kolimbithres Beach: The beach of Kolymbithres is situated at the northern part of the island, within the protected Bay of Naoussa and at the West of it. It is found at a distance of some 10 kilometers northeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). It is probably the most famous beach of the island and undoubtedly the most noteworthy. Beaches located at the North East coast of Paros island

  • Piperi Beach: The small and scenic sandy beach of Piperi (meaning "pepper" in Greek) is situated at a distance of some 10 kilometers northeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). The locals often refer to it as they were two separate beaches, the Mikro and Megalo Piperi ("small" and "big" Piperi), but in fact it is only one beach, very nice with fine sand and crystal clear sea.   • Agii Anargiri Beach: The sandy beach of Aghioi Anargyri is situated at a distance of a few hundred meters eastern to Naoussa and some 11 kilometers northeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). Agii Anargiri on Google Maps
  • Langeri Beach: The small but well protected sandy beach of Langeri is situated some 1,5 kilometers northeastern to Naoussa and 12 kilometers far from the town of Paros (Paroikia) also at the Northeast. Langeri on Google Maps
  • Santa Maria Beach: The long sandy beach of Santa Maria is found at the northeastern end of the island, within a small cove, well protected by the northern winds. It is situated at a distance of 12-13 kilometers far from the town of Paros (Paroikika) at the Northeast and only some two kilometers from Naoussa, also at the Northeast. Santa Maria on Google Maps
  • Ambelas Beach: The small, well protected sandy beach in front of the small coastal village of Ambelas is found some 12,5 kilometers far from the town of Paros (Paroikia) at the Northeast and 5 kilometers eastern to Naoussa. As the beach is protected from the winds, its small port is suitable for mooring of small fishing and excursion boats. Ambelas on Google Maps
  • Glyfades Beach: The exquisite sandy beach of Glyfades is situated some 15-16 kilometers eastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia) and 5 kilometers southern to Naoussa. No facilities at all are available at the beach, as it is remote enough, far from the public road and access is possible only via a dirt road. more about Glyfades Beach... Beaches located at the South East coast of Paros island

  • Molos Beach: The small sandy beach of Molos is situated within a small cove formed by the two hills Kefalos and Antikefalos, in the area of the ancient pottery workshops, at a distance of 17 kilometers southeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia) and very close to the village of Marmara.   • Piso Livadi Beach: The nice sandy beach of Pisso Livadi, in front of the homonymous summer tourist settlement, is situated at a distance of 18 kilometers southeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia), at the eastern coast of the island. Every day several excursion boats, departing from the port of the settlement, connect the beach and the island with Antiparos and other neighboring islands. Piso Livadi on Google Maps
  • Logaras Beach: The long sandy beach of Logaras is found in front of the homonymous summer tourist resort at the eastern coast of the island, :some 17,5 kilometers far away from the town of Paros (Paroikia) at the Southeast. Logaras on Google Maps
  • Pounta Beach (Chrissi Akti): The sandy beach of Punta, near Chryssi Akti, is situated some 26 kilometers southeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). Pounta on Google Maps
  • Nea Chrissi Akti (New Golden Coast) or Tserdakia Beach: The beach of Nea Cryssi Akti, called "Tserdakia" by the locals, is also a long sandy beach, successive to Chryssi Akti.   • Chrissi Akti Beach (Golden Coast): The long, sandy beach of Chrysi Akti is situated at a distance of some 25 kilometers southeastern to Paroikia. It is one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean Sea for sea sports and especially windsurfing. It is not without reason that the surfers consider this beach ideal for this sport.   • Drios Beach: The beautiful beach in front of the small scenic village of Dryos is situated some 22 kilometers far from the town of Paros (Paroikia) at the Southeast. As the beach is well protected from the northern winds, there is a small port suitable for mooring of small fishing and tourist boats. Drios on Google Maps
  • Glyfa Beach: The wonderful small sandy beach of Glyfa (meaning "brackish" in Greek) is situated at a distance of some 18 kilometers southeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia) and some 5 kilometers southern to Dryos. Glyfa on Google Maps

 

Beaches located at the South West coast of Paros island

  • Farangas Beach: The well protected sandy beach of Farangas is situated at a distance of some 15 kilometers southern to the town of Paros (Paroikia), close enough to Alyki. Farangas on Google Maps
  • Pounta Beach (facing Antiparos): The nice beach of Punta is situated at a distance of 8 kilometers southwestern to the town of Paros (Paroikia), in front of the homonymous settlement, facing the island of Antiparos. The beach is in fact a set of small separate but successive beaches with fine sand. Pounta on Google Maps
  • Agia Irini Beach: The small dreamy beach of Aghia Irini is a sandy beach situated at a distance of 4 kilometers southern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). In fact there are two beaches separated one from another by a series of low rocks. Access from one beach to the other is very easy on foot. Agia Irini on Google Maps
  • Parasporos Beach: The beach of Parasporos is a long sandy beach situated at a short distance far from the center of Paoikia, some 2,5 kilometers at the South of the capital of the island.
